Disciplinary proceedings
Representation of the parties as either attorney or proxy in the course of any disciplinary proceedings provided for by law, at any stage thereof, pending in connection with service or work performed. Cases in this category include, for example, disciplinary proceedings against: civil servants, teachers, police officers, soldiers, Border Guard officers, Central Bureau of Investigation officers, securities brokers, investment advisers, doctors, architects and civil engineers.
Disciplinary proceedings are repressive in nature and, within the framework of such proceedings, the accused is entitled to the appointment of a defence counsel in order to exercise his or her rights and interests. Likewise, people who are aggrieved by the behavior of a representative of a particular professional group (such as patients) can appear in disciplinary proceedings by an attorney (a proxy) as aggrieved parties.
For the purposes of its cases, the Firm will cooperate with experts, tax advisers and other specialists who will be able to support the interests of the represented party in the course of the dispute.
