Cases in this category include, for example, disciplinary proceedings against: civil servants, teachers, police officers, soldiers, Border Guard officers, Central Bureau of Investigation officers, securities brokers, investment advisers, doctors, architects and civil engineers.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Disciplinary proceedings are repressive in nature and, within the framework of such proceedings, the accused is entitled to the appointment of a defence counsel in order to exercise his or her rights and interests.
